Tymber Integration
This integration combines the Tymber e-commerce platform with Berbix ID verification to seamlessly add ID checks into your customer checkout experience.
What's needed
To integrate Tymber and Berbix, you will need to have an account on both platforms. If your company doesn't have one or both accounts yet, you can use the following contact forms and a representative will reach out to you shortly.
Setup instructions
For this setup, we recommend using two windows or tabs to log in to your Tymber Mission Control and Berbix dashboard so you may toggle back and forth or keep them open side-by-side.
Step 1: TMC Integration Settings
From your Tymber Mission Control, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Berbix
.

This is where you will input the data you collect from your Berbix dashboard in the following steps.
Step 2: Input Berbix API Secret
From the Berbix dashboard, select Integration
and General
in the nav menu. At the top of the page, verify that you have an API Secret generated.
If you don't have one yet, select Add Key
at the top right.
Make sure you're in Live mode!
If you see an orange "Test" flag next to the API Key, you're in Test mode!
At the top of the navigation menu on the left, toggle Test mode off.

For the Tymber integration, make sure to a Live
API Secret.
Copy the API Secret, and paste it in the API Key
field in the TMC Integration settings.
Step 3: Allowed Domains
Scroll just below the API Keys to find the Allowed Domains section. Select Add Domain
and add your site's domain to the list.

If you see an orange "Test" flag, toggle out of test mode to ensure you're adding live Allowed Domains.
Which domain?
Make sure to use the live menu url, ex:
https://YourStore.com
, nothttps://YourStore.tymber.io
.
Step 4: Templates
In the Berbix navigation menu, select Configuration
, then select Templates
. You will need at least one Web
and Native Mobile
template.
If you do not yet have one of each, click Create Template
and select the appropriate template type from the drop-down.

For both templates, open the template editor by clicking on the template name, and copy the Template Key.

Paste the keys into the Web Template Key
and Mobile Template Key
fields in the TMC Integration settings, and press Save
.

Step 5: Webhooks
Once Berbix is connected in the integration settings in Tymber Mission Control, you'll see two webhooks generated in the integrations settings under the 'Hooks' tab.

In Berbix, return to Integration > General
and scroll until you reach the Webhooks
section.
Select Add Webhook
and input the required webhooks from the TMC Integration page.

Make sure the webhook type matches the webhook URL you are copying from TMC.
Verification status changed → **Identity Verification Updated Hook**
Verification finished → **Identity Verification Completed Hook**
Step 6: Tymber Store Configuration
In Tymber Mission Control, go to Settings > Store Configuration > Identity Verification Service
and select Berbix.

Once this saves, Berbix ID verification will be active on your website!
